Martin has lived in the London Borough of Hillingdon for all but one year of his life. He is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner in a major international firm of accountants until his retirement. He was elected as a Hillingdon Councillor in May 2018 and is the Cabinet Member responsible for Finance.
