I was delighted to commend the work being done by Northwood FC in my constituency who offer a range of sports at their facilities for local groups to use and enjoy. I pressed the Minister to join up grant funding schemes to support the work done by local groups.

In his response, I was pleased to hear of the work already being done to provide further support to grassroots sport and local authorities, like Hillingdon and Harrow who are best placed to help local sports groups.
