It was wonderful to join the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) alongside my colleague Mark Eastwood, MP for Dewsbury, to celebrate the launch of their new report, Growing Agrifood Exports By 2030, in Westminster today.

At the event, it was a pleasure to meet with British producers and food exporters to discuss and sample some of the great British food already exported around the world today, and to hear about how they are exploring opportunities to export even more.

I know that many businesses in the constituency are seeing opportunities in this area, and I look forward to seeing growth in the food export industry locally and nationally.
