Following their successful bid for the Department for Education’s Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) 2022-23, I was delighted to visit Haydon School this morning to meet with Headteacher, Rob Jones.

We had a useful discussion about the plans for the future of the school, importantly on ensuring a big push towards sustainability, and I look forward to keeping abreast of developments.

I am grateful for the invitation and to the school for welcoming me, despite the record heat.
