The Mayor’s Office for policingand Crime – MOPAC recently consulted on the closure ofthree of the boroughs’ policestations including the two in the north of the borough, leavingHayes as the only “front counter” police station inHillingdon.
Many residents and councillors together with Cllrs Crowe and Riley spoke at the recent public consultative meeting in the council chamber.
The next evening the Borough Commander was questioned by the External Services Scrutiny Committee on which Cllrs Crowe and Riley sit. We hope to have persuaded Mayor Khan that we need an operational police building presence in Ruislip to serve the north of the borough and keep our residents safe.
