Once again it is with great pleasure that your councillors are able to announce our providing funding to a number of local schools and other organisations for specific projects to benefit the community. Our successful financial stewardship has again enabled us to make funding available for these ward based payments for individual items and projects that we have identified or have been suggested to us.

So far we have been able to assist our schools, youth groups, community projects and many other organisations. Before Christmas, we were very pleased to be able to award a grant to Bishop Winnington Ingram primary school to support the provision of a new games area.
