A rather busy start to the week in the wonderful Harefield this morning. Firstly, I held my surgery at We Love Coffee, a very popular café on the high street who have kindly hosted my team and I many times before. At the surgery, it was a pleasure to meet with residents to discuss local issues, as well as concerns about Covid restrictions and the proposed 'Plan B' ahead of the vote this week. I very much appreciate having the opportunity to meet with constituents face-to-face and to hear a range of views on pressing national issues. I would like to assure residents that I will always make a decision based on what I feel is in their best interests.
I was also very pleased to meet with the new Borough Commander for the West Area, covering Hillingdon, Ealing and Hounslow, Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson. We had a really useful discussion about local issues that I know are of great concern to residents, such as catalytic converter thefts and drug dealing, and ways in which we can work together to increase public confidence. I look forward to working with Sean and his team in the new year.
